COMPLETE MOLD DIE CASTING TOOL
Complete class "A" Mold Die Casting Tooling is a complete product to make die cast parts. Diecasting tooling comes in a lot of shapes and sizes. Tooling Molds for die casting are made from steel and usually weigh several hundred pounds for a complete die casting tool (complete die casting mold). Many complete molds weigh more than 2,000 pounds.

UNIT DIE MOLD FOR DIE CASTING
The Die Casting Tooling called the unit die is less expensive. This type of tool is faster to set up and many times costs less to produce. This tool is sometimes used for high quantities, but not often. Sometimes the die casting company will offer to produce a set of inserts for the customer requiring die casting parts. These inserts fit into a moldbase owned by the die casting company. The cost of these inserts are often many thousands of dollars less than other forms of die casting tooling.
