Aluminum Handle Ware: Too Good To Handle

Aluminum Handle Ware: Too Good To Handle. Hardware handles are very common because first and foremost, handles are used in doors, and every establishment has its doors. Handles are also used in cabinets and for carrying things around. Hence, hardware handles are used extensively in home and industrial equipments. Handle wares are produced in stainless steel, brass or aluminum but the most common are the aluminum hardware handles.

First, compared to other metals, aluminum is lighter. In addition, since they can be produced in net shape, no welding is necessary making the production easier and faster, equally implying that aluminum handles would cost cheaper. This does not mean however, that those made from other metals are stronger. In fact, an aluminum hardware handle is even stronger than a handle made from welding parts together. The production rate of aluminum hardware handles ranges from a few hundred up to a few thousand handles a day.

Aluminum hardware handle types include oval, positive locking, folding and Standard Square, wire, and extruding type. These can be anodized or powder-coated. The decoration process of aluminum handles is a lot faster than in steel because the mold cavities of aluminum handles from the die casting process makes the addition of designs and other decorative features easier.

Aluminum hardware handles include furniture handles, door and cabinet hinges, household doorknobs, automobile doorknobs, shower handles, handles of windows and aluminum sliding doors, kitchen utensils handles, locks, lifts, folds, garden furniture handles, decorative handles, shower knobs, door bolts and stops and a lot more.
